Lake Eaton

This will be posted when there is inter net. Currently on the tent at beautiful NYS Lake Eaton campground. Hardly anyone here but it's the black flies. Had a we known we probably would have gotten a hotel. I'm so bitten, if I were in Texas, people would think I had measles.
Otherwise another pleasant day riding. We followed the Schroon river for a short while along a first road... Best riding of the day. In N Hudson we rode up Hoffman Notch. It was hard and hot BUT we got to see Blue Ridge Falls. Spectacular.
Meanwhile the first part of the day we followed the road to the Hudson Gorge. The second part of the day we followed the route to the Moose River. How does it always seem to come back to kayaking!
And now I just attempted to pull a tick off of Tina.
Let's hope it's okay. And this will be Tina's last night with me on the road. She'll take two days off riding to get back, probably just retracing or route. It's fun being side by side and Tina telling me all about the birds I can not hear.
