Algonac State Campground

With this I'll be caught up on the journal. Today's ride reminded me why the thumb is not so much fun. Good shoulders (usually) but wide open roads and not much visual simulation. Towards the near end of the ride I had a pleasant ride on 10 or so miles of bike trail. After that a few towns and the St Claire River. Still the majority was tough open roads and the South wind didn't help. Glad to be at a campground with electric and showers.  Plus it is looking out over the St Claire.

Lunch in St Claire near the eponymous River.

Supposed to start raining tonight. Tomorrow up to .30 inches. A bit discouraging. And it'll be raining the day after as well. My goal for tomorrow is to get back into CA go south and set myself up to take a ferry to Sandusky OH the following day. We will see if the weather agrees. Kind of like to avoid Detroit.

Today's ride: 88 miles (142 km)
Total: 1,619 miles (2,606 km)
