A Day in a Life- Onto W.C.Wilson Conservation Area
Not much to say about the riding. Though it may have been "along" the lake, it was mostly inland. So plenty of field views.

But today was mostly a very nice tail wind, so easy, boring miles UNTIL Ridge Town and the last 20 or so.

Today's weather called for plenty of rain so I had multiple bail points. Turns out it was mostly cloudy with occasional drizzle or rain. I figured at 2 ish I would stop in Ridgetown which has a couple of options at about 85 miles. Turns out, one was closed 5 years ago. The other said they were under going renovations and needed to" lock you in from 5 to 8 in the morning". No good reason other then"no staff"....huh? Still, I almost went for it but there were no stores to get food nearby. My next best option was 15 - 20 or so miles away and to eat my emergency food. Which is what I did. BUT the road to camping was mostly dirt and some mud and some gravel. Thank goodness I had the tail wind. All is ok except for the campground is a mosquito magnet.
Checking out tomorrow, fortunately, I see I need to take a ferry. The ACA map ferry though has been closed since like 2018! Fortunately, as Yoda says, there is another. Whew! Lack of planning occasionally has it's drawbacks!
Today's ride: 104 miles (167 km)
Total: 681 miles (1,096 km)
