And just like that,  we are off the Glacier and we find ourselves back to the trees of Paiyu with one more day of trekking

A military mule train carrying mostly fuel cans working its way up the glacier. Each mule carries 4 cans with five gallons of fuel each.

We have left the Glacier. Looking back at the end of Baltoro Glacier.

In camp, Rachel's right boot has bit the dust, the sole peeling off. The idea of tying the sole back to the boot doesn't appeal to any of us, especially Muhammed and Nahid. From here, they will be wearing soft shoes instead of boots, so Rachel tries on their boots, Nahid's fit perfectly.
