I've thought about it, including day "training rides" in the lead-up to a trip, rather like Scott does.  However, I don't usually take my camera with me and my phone camera doesn't do well for anything that isn't pretty close.  Or maybe I'm just fussy!

I'll give it a go, though, when the weather here improves.  I don't start a ride in the rain when I can stay home!
