I am planning a ride in September in Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic and Germany. I had hoped to make it to Prague, but it is just a bit too far to meet my time requirements. Instead, I am thinking about riding to Cesky Krumlov and then turning toward back toward my starting place (Trento, Italy). I've roughed out a possible route that spends some time on EV13 (the Iron Curtain Trail). It is a hilly area with not much development due to the years it spent as a no-man's land.

Here is the route from Cesky Krumlov to Innsbruck: https://cycle.travel/map/journey/595960
Has anyone ridden in this area? If so, any insight you can provide on the route would be welcome.
