OK, so nothing too exciting here...except to me. I had responded earlier to a post about goals/plans for this year, saying that after I rebuilt a used bike I bought I hoped to do my first self supported tour. Well, last week I found myself out of town and standing in a Performance Bike Shop. I jokingly sent my wife a picture of a 1/2 off price tag on a Fuji Touring bike. She responded, "Get it"...so I did.
Well, I finally found time to take it for a little 21 mile spin...felt great (other than I've gotten fatter and out of shape)!
Looking forward to when I can get away for a little overnight trip to the local State Park...and more!
