Wow! what a beautiful picture of Dickey Lake! Those who live in this area enjoy the serenity & the blue color of the water, a reflection of the blue sky. Nice place to relax & take a Nap.
2 years agoI had to go back to the title page and see how many miles you've ridden - 4,800 and change. I think you have your cycling legs! I remember this day as being strenuous.
Don't you love it when everything comes together and you get one of those magical riding days? :)
Sorry you had to encounter the infamous wind sweeping off the Rockies. We used to say when it wasn't windy, we walked at a slant, so used to compensating for it!
But yes, the views almost make up for it.
It’s such a drag that you have to put up with rude drivers. Congratulations on keeping your cool. I probably would not have!
2 years agoYes! I totally get the LWB/wind connection.
BTW, we are due a bicycle photo. It's been awhile.
I hope the wind is friendlier.
The person who made this sculpture had a lot of patience!
It is a work of art!
At my age, hydration has become my single biggest challenge on the bike. I've taken to downing 750ml of water before I even roll off in the morning. Even with that, I sometimes struggle. Good luck tomorrow!
