Yup. Same haircut, same smile, unmistakeable; but different from the first time we saw her when her face was masked for Covid.

1 year agoWhat a great day of cycling but try to get an earlier start so you don’t overheat! We are definitely not having a heat issue but I’ll be glad when it’s not so chilly, rainy and windy here. We’ve been really fortunate to be able to work around it!

I re-read your journal entries from that trip and they played a large part in my deciding to cycle back to Bassano del Grappa rather than take the train. I'm generally following your routes with some variations - thanks as always for the trailblazing!
1 year agoGreat to see you have such a fine day, Susan. Maniago sounded vaguely familiar to me so I looked back on our journal from three years ago and saw that we stayed there too - and in the same albergo, from the looks of your map.
