I remember this. No, this is not the preferred route.

Yup. Same haircut, same smile, unmistakeable; but different from the first time we saw her when her face was masked for Covid.

How lucky for you to be having a layover day when the storm came through!

That’s the best thing to have when you’re overheated.

If I couldn’t find high protein yogurt, I’d probably buy one of these to have with my cereal.

Does this remind you of home? (without the mountains, of course)

Rachael Anderson commented on To Maniago

What a great day of cycling but try to get an earlier start so you don’t overheat! We are definitely not having a heat issue but I’ll be glad when it’s not so chilly, rainy and windy here. We’ve been really fortunate to be able to work around it!

Thanks Scott. Yes, it is the same Albergo! I re-read your journal entries from that trip and they played a large part in my deciding to cycle back to Bassano del Grappa rather than take the train. I'm generally following your routes with some variations - thanks as always for the trailblazing!

Great to see you have such a fine day, Susan. Maniago sounded vaguely familiar to me so I looked back on our journal from three years ago and saw that we stayed there too - and in the same albergo, from the looks of your map.
