Scott Anderson commented on Bologna

I see that badminton is on the schedule at the Olympics today! We’ll expect a report.

Unlike you, we’ve been noticing that, in most of the accommodations we stayed in this year that offered (and usually charged for) a buffet breakfast, there was a notice posted about not taking food from the breakfast room. So we didn’t. In places where food was brought to our table, just for us, we sometimes did, but I was travelling with Al and there wasn’t always anything left to take.

We stayed there too in 2022. Thanks for re-freshing our memories of Bassano and Borgo Valsugana. Sorry you didn't get to Asolo.

Passing through the barrier is also my usual mode of action.

Well, what doesn't fall on you gets you through the rough patches.

As a general rule we ignore these signs and barricades. Usually it is not a problem, but every once in a while we have had to backtrack and try a route around.

No worries - I should have turned back myself. At least I didn’t fall into the river!!

Oh, I’m so sorry. That route posted in our journal is the one we intended to ride but quickly turned back when we found it wasn’t a bikeable track. I think we only got a few hundred yards in before backtracking. I didn’t think to correct the route before posting it.

You've been there? I did copy/reverse your route between Borgo and BDG but also edited the beginning to start at my hotel. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt and blaming RWGPS.

Wow, you really did end up high on the hillside! Its sure a good thing you got fed once you were up there.
