"We often leave these interactions with a buzz inside of us, feeling inspired by the adventures of other bikepackers. The bikepacking community really is such a special one — it feels grounded in passion, kindness, and generosity."
I am living vicariously through you.

2 days agoPump, I don't kow n whether you will have space when the bike is packed but we carry a Zefal HP #4 on the tube between the two bottom brackets. This pump kicks ass! No longer made by Zefal but you can still find them or knock offs on the Web. Hold in place with a couple of strips of hook and loop tape.

....." to ground ourselves in the details of each day. It’s easy to get caught up in the next thing: the next water source, the next town, the next summit. Our hope is that documentation will help us stay present in the moment and illuminate the raw feelings of this sort of adventure - from the grinning cheek-to-cheek adrenaline rushes to the tears. "
Thank you for sharing your adventure with us!

"It was awkward and overwhelming and hard to say no.....especially as two people pleasers."
1 day ago"No" is definitely an important word to bring along both during trips in foreign lands and - should a future journey take you there - parenting.
