You guessed it--that route that goes up and down the central part of the US might just be our next adventure :)

Hello again. There is a thread in the forums about when to replace tyres. I hope you will start the next ride with two new tyres and hopefully you won't need any of your four tubes on the ride.

WOW! What a true adventure, grand experience and fantastic accomplishment for both of you. Congrats on the good finish through many times of adversity (flat tires, illness, cold, little food at times, etc.). You two rock!!! Welcome home and I await your next adventure.

Congratulations on the successful completion of a very challenging journey! It was fun following along with your journal. If you haven't already discovered, you will soon - this bike touring thing gets in your blood and you will want more! Perhaps you may want to consider a U.S. based tour next time - perhaps one of the ACA routes? Best of luck on whatever future adventure awaits,

What a great finish to your ride! Tire issues right to the very end.
I've found that traveling with a bike when I'm not actually riding the bike is a major PITA. Worth it though, right?

Thank you so much for making time to share your adventures through this journal! It's been such a treat to read about all the ups and downs (physical and emotional) and get a little glimpse into your world for the past month. The photos added a lot.... it was so fun to see the scenery, the small towns, the animals, the food, and of course your smiling faces!

I've loved reading your journal so much... just discovered it after returning from a far less impressive little ride of my own. Kudos to you both for overcoming so much, and for reaching the end of an incredible journey. What an achievement. Chapeau! - as they probably don't say in Spanish speaking places...
