Ha ha. This is the same one we stopped at when we were here in 2022.

Hope you stopped at one of the biker-bars/cafes along this route! A world class cycle path along the Brenta!

There are many of these in Freiburg. We were there yesterday and the ‘ water troughs’ were lined with people cooling their feet! It was 34-35C.

I agree, it seems like an art installation.

Quick question . We just drove the Passo Gardena today almost exactly a month after we cycled it. It has been freshly paved since we were here. Beautiful smooth black asphalt on the top three km ( no lines painted). Was this done when you cycled it? When we did it the pavement was ok but a bit like Roger’s pass, a few rough spots and potholes 😛. Pretty impressive they got that much replaced in a month or less as there didn’t seem to be any construction activity when we biked it.

So good you made the decision to follow those other cyclists. Such a nice path. Quite different scenery for you today. Variety is good, isn't it. Sounds like it's getting a bit warm. Glad you got most of your cycling days in before it got too hot. Keep hydrated!! I know you will. xx

So intriguing, thnx for including this bit of historical information, especially as it pertains to places not too far from here.

During this ride, it did indeed sound & look like there was a lot of joy & the surprising fun of seeing the competition riders!
Music & captions were fun!
It is inimaginable how one would be able to navigate those small, twisty alleyways without some high-tech gps gear?

Never gets dull. How glorious.
