This place looks fantastic! And two nights!
4 months agoEven better, we are here for two nights. We feel very lucky.
4 months agoWe would much rather have wet feet than fall and end up totally wet. Re the not waterproof Ortlieb panniers-only the rolltop ones are truly waterproof even when submerged. We have the kind that clip the top to the body but while just fine, even in a downpour, they let in water like mad when submerged.
4 months agoThat looks like an amazing overnight! Score!
4 months agoSmart move - a friend riding on a dirt path in Florida that led further and further into the swamp fell down three times in the water. The last time he fell on top of his bike and broke several ribs. End of trip! Plus, it turns out if you submerge Ortlieb panniers in Florida swamp water, they are not water proof! Adding insult to injury, when he did decide to turn back, he then (obviously) had to go through the problematic areas once again.
4 months agoWe wondered about that too. And yeah......
4 months agoThere was only one World War?
The current US administration only cares about the grift. Those commemorated on the wall were merely "suckers and losers" to them.
Probably happy to be sitting and getting a rest.
4 months agoBefore the tour we didn't realize that Gibralter was a military base.
4 months agoWe did not expect the tour to be so interesting. Ahead of time we thought it would be a large rock and monkeys so we were most pleasantly surprised.
4 months agoThe day was great but the middle of the night thing was unnecessary excitement.
4 months agoSadly, true.
4 months agoThank you for that tour! Most interesting and educational!
4 months agoNah, he would not understand ( or appreciate) this.
