Retirement project to bring that one back onto the road.

2 months agoHave to think that this is living dangerously for a tortoise.
2 months agoLooks like it needs a renovation.
2 months agoGlad to see that you got out of Africa OK!
2 months agoCobblestones are annoying, but nothing like sand :-)
2 months agoSo were we. It's the wet season. I assume it is more brown after the heat. We've met cyclists going the other way and swapped stories about Malawi. For us it was tropical and green, for them red and seriously hot. Just lucky this time for us! (I'd say it was good planning, but I didn't consider this when planning)
2 months agoEurope is different, but still great :-) That's why we keep coming back!
2 months agoHere's another vote to keep it going.
2 months agoI can't believe you two made it. What a tremendous accomplishment!
2 months agoAww...hope it doesn't peter out! I'm enjoying the journey!
2 months agoSo many awesome photos! And so many awesome experiences! I will miss living vicariously through your journey through Africa. Europe will be dull in comparison, no big game, no very cute little girls in Sunday-best dresses, no chaotic traffic with horses, cows, bikes, motorbikes, cars and trucks sharing the road. Thanks so much for sharing.
3 months agoWhen I've envisaged Uganda, it is never green and tropical. I've been surprised!
3 months agoHiking in clay type mud is the worst, though soft sand is a pretty close second. I've never tried cycling through either and don't ever want to try. Cobblestones will be your next challenge...
