4 months agoIt’s the first one I’ve seen and I was very lucky to get a photo of it. There were a few mountain bikes on some of the trails but it’s really a hiking trail. It was a fabulous hiking area.

4 months agoThat’s what I was hoping for really because I haven’t seen one yet this year. They were definitely all brewers though.
4 months agoYes, it’s a Brewer. In fact, all the birds were brewers, and I was wrong in thinking that the first ones in were female grackles. I’m a little surprised by how iridescent some of them are though.

4 months agoOh, these blackish birds are confusing. I would not put it past this one to be a Cowbird.
