Yeah, I know Phil! We stop and chat every now and then on the bike path, generally on Creekside between Dayton and Beavercreek.
3 weeks agoI had an enjoyable evening catching up on your ride! You're my hero! I can't imagine doing what you are doing and also keeping up on an amazing blog of your journey. I love all the pics and stories. Keep them coming!
3 weeks ago89 miles was for two days. I'll be happy to do 70 miles on the flats. I did do 65 miles today, July 5th.

3 weeks agoA shame I'm out of town for a while... I live only a mile and a half from Creekside trail, which you will take from Xenia to Dayton. If I was home, I would try to meet up and ride a few miles with you, as I have done with several bike touring folks over the years. The Air Force Museum is not far off the bike path, and if you have lots and lots of time, it is a great place! And it is free!!
