And thank you! And if you come back this way some year, be careful of those floating bridges. My best friend lost the tip of his nose at the end of our tour down the coast fifty years ago when his front wheel dropped into an expansion joint on the Mercer Island floating bridges five mile from home.

1 month agoWhat a lovely, relaxed tour with friends. Our very first tour was a 3-day ferry and bike island ride starting and ending in Anacortes. Like you, we did not take on Mt. Constitution and hope to return some day to rectify that.
1 month agoSelf-tapping hex head metal screws are nasty! Did some wall disassembly and metal roofing work with them years ago.

Oh yes! The fritter we nibbled on here was the second one he bought and we have a whole other one (blueberry) for the road. These are 9 inch diameter fritters and they travel well!

1 month agoWashington State Ferries has the worst “food”. See, I can’t even call it that! BC Ferries’ food isn’t great but it’s much better.

I love reading and following your adventures. Can’t wait for the next one. The pictures were great and the commentary always spot on. I read some of the entries to Jayden and he kid approved as well LOL. After the heat this summer, you need to get to Vegas and see this kid. He’ll be as tall as Jim before we know it. Love you all!
