Yes! Recreate and post!!!
4 years agoUm. That’d be foreground, no? And where’s all the snow?
4 years agoA classic pose! I’m hoping we’ll bike back up here before we leave. If we do, we’ll try to remember to recreate this photo.

4 years agoThanks for reading and commenting Mr. G! I know you and Mrs. Groovy y are busy and it means a lot that you took the time!
We still are planning to get to the east coast at some point but not sure when.
I look forward to reading and sharing your book!! Also, I'm woefully behind on the Groovy Ranch updates but will catch up. who knew retirement would be so busy????
It is!
5 years agoI finally got it back to almost vertical. I have superhuman strength.

5 years agoYeah we lucked out. Could've gotten ugly.
5 years agoWe went dancin' across the USA
On that crazy king's highway
Too much passion
Too much play
We went dancin', dancin', dancin' across the USA
I guess the above would have been more fitting if I substituted "cycling" for "dancin," but I think you guys get the idea. Love you guys. Thanks for sharing your adventure. Although I didn't get to this journal as often as I would have liked, I never visited without experiencing a feeling of awe and admiration. You guys are a national treasure. Peace.
Never saw badger holes before. Thanks for posting.
5 years agoOh, man. Where do I begin. First, you guys are awesome. Sorry I've been away for so long. Who knew my opus would be so time-consuming? Anyway, I love the pictures and the commentary. "The drop off here is about 35 feet. It would probably hurt." That's a classic. Second, Gay and Denise look like very special people. You're truly blessed to have them as friends. And third, this post had everything--kambucha, IPAs, dont-tread-on-me yahoos, quiet contemplation, and a short video of a death-defying trek down a treacherous bike path. Hail to the Grumbies! I promise not to be a such an infrequent visitor in the future. Cheers.
