OMG speedos! That would put a lot of Kiwis out of contention. I can remember seeing a couple of French families in our local pool. The guys were wearing what looked almost like thongs. They got a lot of strange looks.

No. All manner of ordure supposedly goes into them. I’m not sure what the situation is with holding tanks on longboats. Presumably they have holding tanks. Seen a few people swimming in them occasionally- one couple getting hauled out by police!

Isn't that bizarre? Every eco place here or little places in the country all sell the same stuff - honey, soap and candles. Though here I often see free range eggs as well. Candles- the gift when you can't think of anything else.
