I'm not a real birder... Several others out there are, so anything I post on birds may be suspect. My Ornithology course at AZ State ended in 1969 and I was definitely a star in that class!

Looks like some kind of sparrow. Wikipedia lists 28 species for the area. Little brown birds give me fits!

I tried but downtown Virginia may be too bright. Too bad because it's a lovely evening.
1 year agoVirginia creeper can be quite vivid against green backgrounds since it turns red early. Some of it is turning here in Ohio.

You'd have to steer a tight line and go slowly, but I would think you could ride a trike safely across. Evidently you did.

This reminds me of the steel mesh that we drove on over rivers on the Alcan Highway, going to Alaska. They were noisy and moved, nothing felt stable. I never wanted to be the driver and happily turned the wheel over to Dave when we came to these.
