We probably should have and we’ve still got time. To clarify though, I never consumed the Lambrusco in the UK. We were ‘mature’ late 20’s - early 30’s expats working there. The fizz was the cheap party booze for the ‘young kids’.

I really like this city. It’s a great base for hiking up into the hills to the west also. I’d be happy to land here for a longer stay some spring or autumn.

I thought you might keep the tradition. Why are you up so early????

You really should give the Lambrusco a try while in northern Italy. What you've had is nothing like what you'll find in Italy. Pairs well with salumi, tomato sauced pasta and pizza, sausages, it's quite refreshing.

About 20. Marble was being quarried there from the time of the Romans.

Well aren't those routes fun! Reminds me of a "bicycle route" leaving Cremona. Not much more than a kilometer, but it continually degraded and the exit was through a dairy farm.

Well, it sure fits in with the name of your journal, and makes for some fun memories. I wonder what other quirky adventures await?

We did ask the Druid … for two beer. The runes apparently said no.

We missed all this insight when we booked months back. Who knew there’d be all this.

Gotta love this place.

It’s Easter week, so lots of kids are on school breaks and people are vacationing. It’s heaving down here in Naples, too.

OMG, that’s too funny. I looked up their website and I have to wonder if this is the guy who interprets the runes. “In our club you will have the opportunity to ask questions to the druid, who will answer you by interpreting the ancient Celtic runes!”
