I recommend that you try and make sure you ride this on a week day as I understand that there are a lot of motorcycles on the weekends especially as the summer progresses. In my opinion this would not be nice for both my ears and for cycling. All the best!

Woohooo! I'm reading and rereading this in detail. In one month it's our moment of decision about doing the climb. I'm holding onto your statement about a relentless 7% climb - that's a grade I can deal with.
