About

I retired at 58 so I could enjoy my bike touring lifestyle. I came into bike commuting when I lived and worked in Toronto in 1990. I did not own a car for a few years so depended solely on the bicycle. It was a simple easy life. I got good at carrying items home on my bike. I worked in the US and met some very nice people in bike clubs. I have gone on supported bike tours but found going by myself was also fun. So I went touring to China and Europe. I stay in hotels in China but like to camp in Europe. I have a Bike Friday Crusoe folding bike and a custom made S & S coupled light touring bike.
