Packing Up ; (: It's Really Over

I am having a hard time with this page....too much emotion. So, for now just some photos. Thoughts will come later.

Jack researched online and found Shipbikes.com. They make a box that FedEx will take. It is a great box even has fork stabilization bars. They run about $50 but should be reusable.

Took two bike boxes and three others to hold all our gear! The three other boxes weighed 80 lbs. included all of our bags and gear except our yellow roller bags which we carried on the plane with our clothing for two days and electronics.

Loaded and ready to go.

Hard to Let them Go! They could weigh only 60lbs......mine was 55 and Jack's was 58. His racks are heavier. The only items in besides the bikes were our helmets with Da Brims. The boxes weighed a few pounds too. I had around 45+ lbs of gear so that means loaded my bike was 100 lbs! Jack would have been around 110 lbs!! WOW...........No wonder those hills were so hard in the beginning! But - WE DID IT!!
