Day 42 - Riverside to Walden, Colorado: Going Up

We are in Colorado and it is beautiful. We don't have great WiFi so just hello......we are glad to be here and will add more when we can.

Colorado can hold it's own with Wyoming in wind!! Why are there no wind power sites in this part of the country?

I don't remember much about yesterday...this is why I should at least do my write up! Maybe it will come back to me with the photos. I do remember we had headwinds because we had them again today. I remember that the first 26 miles were much harder than the last 24.....thank you, the wind must have changed a little and that is about it. So, here's the photos....

The Ground Hogs Were Out and About...they have quite a vocabulary.

We arrived in Walden around three something and found this great little motel....

Great Little Find.....nice rooms, GREAT hot tub and breakfast if you are there at 7am we were gone. She enjoys getting cyclists.

A walk around town.....antique store and Teen Center. Do you know what "Tonsorial" is? We had to look it up.
