After two rest days in Prague, we are ready for our last leg. The tour is almost over! All good things must come to an end . . . and then we start planning for the next one! This leg will only be interrupted by a day off in Dresden, something that Happy had specifically requested but also made sense to me. I had read about the horrible bombing of Dresden during World War II, but also about the magnificent rebuilding of the historic town center. Of course, many German cities rebuilt parts or most of their old town centers in the same style as the original before the war, but Dresden is renowned for the effort they have taken to reestablish what was lost. We will see.
