Headed Home - Berlin Departure
I had a relatively early morning flight out of the "old" airport located to the south of Berlin. I was flying WOW Airlines as they seemed to have the best airfares for a late purchase (only two weeks before my departure). It was an easy ride to the airport, and the cab driver (ordered up by my hotel) easily accommodated my bike box. Schönefeld Airport, while easy to get to, does not have good wayfinding, so it was not easy to navigate. But I arrived early enough to account for that and was soon checked in and enjoying a beer! I am ready to go home. It was a great adventure, but it can't last forever . . . and there are others to plan!
