Bastille Day in Paris
Today is Bastille Day in France, a national holiday celebrating the overthrowing of the ancien régime! Rather than joining the large crowds on the Champs-Élysées, we decided to picnic in the Tuileries Garden not far from the Louvre Museum. We had a delightful time and were joined by Happy and Jerry.

After the festivities, Happy and Jerry walked back to the hostel and discovered that Happy's panniers had been delivered from the airport! A miracle, given the trials and tribulations we had been through so far. We leave on tour tomorrow! Off to Fontainebleau!
