Como: A restful day in beautiful weather
The wheels haven’t turned all day and we have had a thoroughly idle time. Have worked out what we will do till we fly home. Tomorrow we will change hotels to one we have found at a slightly more reasonable price. We had intended taking the ferry to Bellagio today but there is a general strike in Italy today so no ferries were running. So it was just a general mouch around and very relaxing it was, including the siesta we had after lunch. We did take the funicular up to Brunate – I sure wouldn’t like to be on it if the rope broke !
