Keith A. SpanglerHi Kerry and Jeanna! You guys are moving right along! Love this profile especially that spike in the middle. Continued safe travels, I'm just sitting outside under the stars and next to the fire pit.

Pictures tell the story today...

Early in the ride I passed several very large farms. Wheat was the primary crop.

The first sod farm I remember seeing on this trip.

There was a line of trucks waiting on their loads.

This sod looked like it was ready for harvest as well.

It was a long climb to the center span. Even though it doesn't have a shoulder or bike lane, it is a good bridge for cyclists, because there is almost no traffic. Only 2 cars passed me on the entire climb.

Riding along the Michael N. Castle C & D Canal Trail. I was surprised later on when I encounter some 8% grades. I thought a canal trail would be flat!!

The Canal Bridge is a Warren through truss lift span and still in use by the Delmarva Central Railroad.

Keith A. SpanglerGuys, this is the town that has had extreme flooding events. The last one was only a couple years ago, the flood ripped through downtown sweeping cars away. It really impacted the city businesses too; can't remember how many died. It was crazy to see.

These guys were having trouble lifting the mower onto the truck, so I stopped to lend a hand.

I ended today's ride on a busy road, but it had a great bike lane.
