Day 5 - St. Augustine
The big excitement for today was receiving our 2022 jerseys. We had ordered them with time to spare, but COVID factory shutdowns in China caused a delay. They were delivered to our house one day after we left. Our wonderful friend Cathy picked up the package and took it to the post office to forward it to us here. It wasn't inexpensive, but the post office delivered as promised and now we have our official touring kit!

My brother and sister-in-law drove down from Jacksonville to spend the day with us. We had a very good time with them, walking around the historic district, seeing the sights, eating and drinking. My phone and camera stayed behind in our room during all those pleasant hours, so I have nothing to show you from our day.
Tomorrow we will enjoy this first short day of our trip with only 35 miles routed - and we'll get to wear our new jerseys!
