Day 123 - Georgetown to Brantford

We had a much better ride today than yesterday.  There weren't as many tough hills and we had mostly quiet back roads.  We turned southwest, away from Toronto, which gave us a more bicycle friendly route.

We left Georgetown on pretty residential streets.

In only two or three miles, we were out in the country.

I thought we were going to go through a whole day without any interesting encounters to write about, then we met Jamie.  We had pulled of the road next to his farm stand to rest our feet and he was there on his Gator replenishing the corn he had for sale.  He also was feeding corn to these three cows and gave us some to feed them too.

Jamie is a cyclist and talked about some of his rides.  He recently did cancer fundraiser which involved his riding 750 km over the course of a month.

We had fun meeting Jamie and three of his girls.
