Day 71 Sturgis to Grand Rivers

Today was a put your head down and pedal kind of day. We took breaks to get drinks and food - and to cool off - but there were no places with interesting sights to see.

We arrived at the Rose of the Lake B&B in Grand River before 1PM and were able to check in right away - after meeting Samantha, a sweet rescue dog who's been here for just over a week. There are two other very nice dogs in residence, Miss Maggie Mae and Miss Masie Mae.

This place is a delight. We have the pool cottage for three nights. It is a small 2 bedroom house with all the amenities.

I'm planning to enjoy the pool, the flower filled grounds and walking or golf carting around the little town here while we take a short vacation from cycling.
