Saturday Sneek ( not a misspelled word)

Today was full of so many surprises! Not all good, but made the best of it..

To start with, we had rain and wind mostly all day long from our departure at 9 am until our unexpected return to the barge due to the illness of one of the guides.  Her issue caused a change in plans for the planned routes because there were not two people to take the long and short groups around.

However, because the weather is so unpredictable, quite a few riders chose to stay on barge, lessening the amount of riders in a group anyway. We rode in the morning to the planned stop at a Friesland Horse Farm in Sibrandaborren. Several riders who remained on the barge were escorted by car to the farm, due to the kindness of the horse farm family! Here are some photos from this event..
