Farewell Eyre Peninsula

Haslam to Ceduna

Three Week Progress Report:
21 days into the “Against the Wind” fundraising ride and it looks as if we are almost half way to Perth.

- 1840 km cycled
- 4700 metres climbed
- 2 rest days
- 3 flat tyres
- 1 mouse plague incident
- 1 broken spoke
- 1 ferry ride
- 9 media interviews
- 0 wet weather days
- 0 dog chases
- Numerous glorious sunrises and sunsets.

Today’s ride was a relatively easy 74 km to Ceduna. Here we stocked up with food staples before we head west on the Eyre Highway which has few settlements (other than roadhouses) for hundreds of kilometres.
