Day 2 - Suffolk to Williamsburg, VA
Biked from Suffolk to Williamsburg, VA. Saw some goats, cows, and cornfields along the way. Took the free ferry from Surry to Jamestown.
Stopped for food at Billsburg Brewery. This is where me, Missy, and Clinton metup with Amos, one of the other riders from our group that we had only talked to online before. Amos arrived from Israel and this is his first time in America. I joked that by the end of the trip, he will probably have seen more of the US than most Americans. Amos is only 18 but seems pretty mature. He's can speak Hebrew, Arabic, and English since he did translation work and I would later find that he's also very talented at cooking.
We ended the day at Chicahominy Riverfront Park and setup camp. Near our camp, we met another group of cyclists. They were part of a tour led by Adventure Cycling. The group lead kindly shared some chili they had cooked with us.
