Birthday at Touski

Touski has been a fixture for Josh, Sabrina, and kids for the past ten years. It is a mainly breakfast café with the distinction of being a co-op. "Pas de Patron" as they say. This year they got thrown out of their rented premises by too much of a cost hike, and they responded by buying a place of their own, not too far away.

People with kids like the play area and casual atmosphere. But I noticed today that every last thing we got was totally top quality. We went because of Joe's birthday. He is five today!

Touski has a unique two price policy. One price if you are broke, and another if you feel you can give the co-op extra support/

A cafe is the best place to appreciate the news of the day.

Out on the street we also see an encouraging sign.

In a few hours now we are heading for Paris. Tomorrow is this blog's official Day 1!
