A day in Lyon

We had an extra night here in Lyon which has been extremely relaxing, although in many ways I feel wandering along more exhausting than biking. One real coincidence was when this morning we went down to the confluence I saw a man with a NZ flag on his bum bag. Said are you really a Kiwi? It turned out they were Paul and Rosemary from Picton. They amazingly even though roughly our age were cycle tourists who had hust completed a trip from the source of the Rhone to Lyon. Last year they had done the part of the Via Rhona that we start tomorrow so got useful advice. Here are some random photos of Lyon
