Phu Quoc to Ha Tien: Back to the mainland

Once again we started the day with coffee on the beach followed a lovely swim. There were actually waves this morning - up until now the seas in South East Asia have been as flat as a pancake. I even managed to body-surf a bit.

After the swim I went off to buy breakfast (bahn mi from the same vendor as yesterday) and to book tickets for the ferry. To cut a long story short (I cycled about 8 kilometers riding up and down trying to get an agent who wanted to sell me a ferry ticket), we ended up having to take the slow ferry back to the mainland. So after packing up and checking out we cycled the easy road back to the Bai Vong, arriving at the ferry terminal just before a massive thunderstorm broke.

The slow ferry gave Leigh some time to get some work done and I had a great time trying to find anything interesting among the masses of Common Terns following the ferry.

Once back in Hat Tien we booked into the Happy Hotel (Hahn Phuc Hotel) where we had stayed a few nights before.

Today's ride: 24 km (15 miles)
Total: 6,599 km (4,098 miles)
