Corvidae is a cosmopolitan family of oscine passerine birds that contains the crows, ravens, rooks, magpies, jackdaws, jays, treepies, choughs, and nutcrackers. In colloquial English, they are known as the crow family or corvids. Currently, 139 species are included in this family.

Scott AndersonTo Karen PoretHey, I couldn't say. Aren't they a beautiful blue though? They're pretty close cousins of the California jays. This is in the mountains just about forty miles north of Nogales, just about the north of their range.
