With 12 of us riding each of us took away something different from this adventure but I think all of us greatly enjoyed our time in the Northwest. Below are some of the things our group found particularly special.

“I think my favorite part of the trip was riding around Lake Coeur d'Alene and the trail in and around Harrison. The Lake view transports me to my vision of what a European mountain lake may be.  One day I'll see the real thing.” SB

“Riding around Lake Couer d'Alene, kayak trip, wildlife sightings (Moose and eagle), local ingredient ice cream treats(cherries and huckleberries), laughing, learning, and languishing with my tribe. What a great holiday!!“MC

“For me the highlights Of the trip were the chance to ride along the river seeing the beautiful beautiful scenery along the Coeur d'Alene and the trail of the Hiawatha, especially riding through the tunnels and across the trestles.  The views of the mountains and deep valleys were awe inspiring. I enjoyed exploring Spokane and its lovely neighborhoods, parks and the architecture of the older buildings of the downtown area. The cool weather was a bonus, too.“JM

“I loved the Chacolet Bridge and scenery there, the utter quiet of night and morning in Harrison, the quail darting about, the apple trees alongside the trail, and the wet meadows with mature grasses.“KZ

“Magnificent mountain views during first 5 miles of Hiawatha trail. Wind through the grasses and across water on the coeur d'Alene trail. Moose munching and doing a clumsy trot down the trail. Spokane river and water falls through Spokane. Variety of eating places with best being baba Spokane. Grand Teton brews. Sharing life stories with each other.”MKF

“Great company, wonderful weather and fabulous scenery- doesn't get much better!!  Loved getting to know a new city.  Spokane was great - Satellite Diner was icing on the cake there.  Riding along the Lake was probably favorite ride.  Conquering the Hiawatha tunnel and bridges felt great.  Got through with a little help from our friends!   Getting to spend time with folks and get to know everyone better was really wonderful.   Quite exceptional that 12 people can travel so well together.  Loved every minute of the trip.  Trying to wean off ice cream may be only down side??!!!”MB
