Day 4
How far should we ride? Where will we stay?
After rising and taking tents down, and drying out the ground cloths and rain flies (It didn't rain but it dewed and lots of condensation on the inside. TMI?) ... we started riding with the idea staying in cheap motel in West Windom. We found out that there is no motel there, so we continued on the Nashua, where we booked a room at the Nashua Motel 6 South.
The ride was full of ups and downs where I needed to get off my bike and push it up the 14% grade two or three times. We had well over 2800 ft. of total elevation gain. (our 60 mile first day's ride had 2700 ft.) The good news is that my body held up to it much better today. ... gettin' in shape.
