Cardinal Greenway Trail, Farm roads, Nickel Plate Trail

I met two couples today on the trails. The first was a man and woman, Larry and Karen. This couple was my age and are locals that ride the Cardinal Geenway Trail often on regular bikes have you! (not ebikes) They have been instrumental in maintaining the quality of the trail in their area, (Converse).

The other couple, Bobby and Sarah were back packing. These were 30 something hikers that quit their jobs in southern California to hike across America. They started in February from Rehobith Beach Delaware. They think they won't finish the hike before summer's end and intend to finish next year. Delightful couple.

This is the trail I rode about 25 miles on today, just after riding several farm roads where I only saw 4 cars over 2 hours.

I've seen only three of these signs along the Great American Rail-Trail Route. That doesn't mean they weren't there.
