Day 37, Richmond, IN to Muncie, IN

Ride to Muncie, mostly rail trail. Cardinal Greenway

Today's ride was one that was more about just getting there than anything else.

I did make a couple more friends in Larry and Gale, where we met at one of the many trail heads to this trail. We shared stories and compared ideas about riding. They had ebikes, but truly do riding. They also gave me a heads-up about a gas station/convenience store/truck-stop. I stopped there and bought, what we call in Oregon, a dozen Jo-jo's. ie. deep fried potato wedges. I crave salty crispy carbs when I ride these distances day after day.

I took this picture to emphasize that this Cardinal Greenway bike trail is not much different than the ones I was riding on in Ohio. There were also some open areas but most of the trail protected me from the wind with these trees.
