After a days rest at the Holiday Inn Express, I took off with a new rear tire and more energy. This is the view of Pittsbugh from across the Monongahela River. I was on the Three Rivers Bike Path,

That stadium on the left is what used to be known as Three River Stadium. .... Home of the Pittsbugh Steelers NFL football team.

You probably have to zoom in on this to see the Allegheny River join the Monongahela River to form the Ohio River. Thus... Three River Stadium, path, and probably many other entities.

Once I got far enough north to avoid the high cliffs and hills, I got on a bike trail which took me to the Panhandle Trail, which took me to the Panhandle of West Virginia.

Finally to West Virginia. Screen shot below shows it on the map.

The plan was to stay at Warm Showers Hosts in Colliers, WV.  Their address in Colliers, but their house and property are 300 feet up over 2 miles after the end of the trail.  I needed to get off my bike and push it for a mile of that.

Today's ride: 55 miles (89 km)
Total: 1,267 miles (2,039 km)
