Jonathan and I rode the Heritage Rail Trail south from York, PA to New Freedom, PA . We encountered this delightful woman just 2 years younger than me. Beverly told us story after story.

Jonathan's Biking buddies met us at a restaurant in New freedom.  Jonathan goes to work tonight, so they gave him a ride back home to Bel Aire, MD

I was riding solo now.

This is the Mason-Dixon Line. Pennsylvania/Maryland boarder. I nice couple who were riding these trails today and other trails other days, took my picture.

The trail deteriarated for a while when I got into Maryland. I was a little muddy in place but not a problem.

The trail improved dramatically by the time I got Whitehall.
