Railroad seems to be a common name for roads near former rail

Another cool morning, but a little warmer than yesterday. Most of the ride was on the Rail Trail known as the Cardinal Greenway. It was all paved and most of it was in nice shape. There were lots of amenities such as tables, water, repair stands and toilets. A very pleasant ride. Richmond is at the far east side of the state and we can see Ohio from the hotel. even in town and close to an interstate, I have no phone service--very strange.
