My Porto wine flight, ruby, tawny (10 year old), and late bottled vintage (2001), at Porto Cruz. I also sampled some white port at Kopke. I think the tawny is the most interesting, although I didn't try anything really old, and am not a great fan of porto wine in general.

Sardine entertainment. There was a similar shop in Lisbon, selling sardines in tins decorated for every year going back to the 1920's. Not that the sardines are aged, just a decoration.

The black ceramic swallows on Portuguese homes are a symbol of welcome and harmony. It originated from the pattern the swallows follow of building nests in the same place year after year.
