Reportedly the best pastel de nata in Lisbon. Based on my small sample, I would agree.

Aginjinha, Portugal's sour cherry liqueur.

I found the liqueur to be sweet, but the cherries, which are included in each glass, taste quite sour.

Portugal has been recognized as a country of tolerance. This memorial of the massacre of Jews 500 years ago is in the same square where the Portuguese version of the Inquisition was held for 300 years.

Crazy guy Len DeMoss in the wine tasting room at the Praca do Comercio.

The wine tasting machine. You put some money on a card, which you then insert into the machine at the green light. Then hold your glass under the nozzle for the wine you want to try, and press the red button. I finally tried the vino verde, made from grapes that are not quite ripe. I liked it a lot.

Yes, another picture from a fish market. This one has a remarkably long eel.
