A moose and her calf just crossed the Moyie River. I should have been 10 seconds earlier to get the best possible shot.

We follow the Meadow Creek and Moyie River Roads as an alternative to US95 to Bonners Ferry. Very pretty, hardly any traffic. One big hill though and gravel for part of the way. We like it!

Bonners Ferry. The third warmshowers host we stayed with this trip and the second who wasn't even home. We have the access code to a nice apartment over their garage, walk to the brewpup downtown and watch two movies before falling asleep. Way to end a trip!
